Free and Discount Clothing (Clothes Closet)

 

YWCA - My Sisters Closet
They have changed the focus of My Sister’s Closet from meeting just basic clothing needs to providing appropriate clothing for clients to wear to job interviews and to wear to work. Clients are referred to them by the counselors in each shelter and are given “gift certificates” to enable them to shop, free of charge, for the clothes and accessories that they need.

All of these resources can be used as a bridge to build a better life. Hannah's Faith would like to encourage you to also consider furthering your education so you can maintain a better economic status. There are many resources for education as well.

Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - Get help paying for college. You may qualify for a student loan that is repaid AFTER you finish college.

Students.gov - Information on how to plan and pay for college.

College Scholarships.org - Information on various grants that are available to qualifying applicants. A Grant is NOT a loan that must be paid back, nor is it always "earned" through academics or sports. There are many different types of Grants.
